We met a lovely couple in Erskineville with a very distinct vision of their home entertainment area.
The requirement:
A unique setup that follows an industrial theme, with steel finishes and an exposed, raw feel.
This installation was truly going to be one of a kind, so we got straight into it. We decided to place all the devices (Foxtel, Playstation, Wii) on steel shelving, with large exposed brackets. All the cabling required was run through thick conduit and we chose to use elbows with a flat access panel. This all followed the theme nicely, adding squared off edges and a rawness that would contrast nicely against the screen. Some spare cables were run just in case they decided to add some more equipment in future.
The result? Exactly what they had imagined – industrial, exposed and raw.
